"Chinese Professor"

If you have not seen this already (and please forgive me if this has already been posted), you should check out this video from the wingnut organization "Citizens Against Government Waste." The video, which appears to be titled "Chinese Professor" shows a mythical lecture to a college class in China on why great nations fail. Basic theme -- we got into debt, and now China owns the US.

It's a masterful piece of propaganda, and should be viewed in that spirit. It plays on racial fear; it plays on the fear of enslavement; the professor looks vaguely Maoist, so there's an element of fear of communism; and it plays on the view I find to be generally held by conservatives that moral decay and spending are leading to a Roman-like downfall for the US.

I would love to put the talents of someone like Michael Moore or Spike Lee to work to make the counter argument that, perhaps, the problem is not so much government waste, but a vastly ovprivileged and under taxed upper class in this nation.
