Wisconsin GOP senator boasts: We have broken the power of unions
Source: Raw Story

Wisconsin Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald bragged that Republicans had busted government employee unions "once and for all" in a fundraising letter sent to his supporters.

In contrast to his earlier rhetoric, which focused on the need to curb public employees union rights to balance the state budget, Fitzgerald said the unions have "ruined California and Illinois, but they're not going to ruin Wisconsin."

"That is because Republicans faced down Big Labor's bully tactics and a Democratic walk-out in the state Senate to break the power of unions like WEAC and AFSCME once and for all," he continued.

2. Showing their true colors: Recall the SOB.
Their contempt for individuals and families trying to hold down decent jobs in this economy knows no bounds.

Throw him out on his privileged and smug ass. I'm not from Wisconsin, and have already donated to the recall effort, but may have to do so again.

Contemptible.

5. PRIVATE Unions too?
Tell me HOW? If a PRIVATE BUSINESS wants to only hire Union truckers to ship their goods, tell me how ANY state is going to stop them.

I had an arugment with a local blogger in Florida over SAG. I worked for a mega corporation which would only hire SAG members for their print or live advertising. This poster was FURIOUS over this. Maybe you can try to break the Unions of GOVERNMENT workers, but if a private company wants to hire only Union members, how do you propose to stop them?

Bad premise. Only GOVERMMENT workers are Unionized. Private Business DOESN'T hire Union workers.

7. In MI, Rick the Dumbass just signed another new law.
The individual item pricing law is now gone. It may cost jobs. Killing the movie industry will surely cost thousands of jobs, minimum. The 'emergency financial manager' bill will allow this jackass to swoop down on any city he chooses to fire everyone and place one of his high-priced cronies in charge to sell off assets. So, let's see, the guy that promised all kinds of new jobs has so far done nothing but kill jobs. Oh, and I promise he will NOT balance any budget. Because it's not about that.

It is not going to come back any time soon..Democrats just don't seem to realize how serious things are and are going to get.. If they don't get off their lazy asses and vote there won't be ANY Democratic Party..
