I want Howard Dean back at the Helm at the DNC. |

He was able to get a message out better than any other DNC Chair I've ever seen.
Flame away. I'm just sayin... :hi:

3. There's no message to get out. |
|
Nobody can spin this mess into pretty. I have other wishes for Howard Dean but would violate DU rules to discuss them.

4. In case you didn't know.... |
|
he created many of the DINOs in congress....these are the ones that would not allow many important provisions in HCR, including the public option....I know that many here blame Obama for the broken congress (i.e., repubs and DINOs) but if the DINOs were really dems we would have the public option and many other important legislation would be stronger....I know I know....here at DU we blame Obama not congress.....I got it.

5. Dean has common sense which most blue dogs don't have |
|
"Ms. Johnson is right: Democrats would be in better shape, and would accomplish more, with a smaller and more ideologically cohesive caucus. It’s a sentiment that even Mr. Dean now echoes. “Having a big, open-tent Democratic Party is great, but not at the cost of getting nothing done,” Dean said."
Bill and Hillary were huge supporters on the DLC...

After he let the situation here in Florida escalate to the point where the DNC was seriously considering disenfranchising innocent run of the mill Democrats over a silly spat between the national and state parties, I lost a lot of respect for Dean's leadership abilities. (Or lack thereof.)
