"We the People" don't matter anymore, we're 2nd class citizens in our own country |
|
We are being told to sacrifice for wars we don't want, sacrifice for tax cuts for the rich and corporations, to put aside health care because it's "off the table", to put aside justice and law and just "move on". We are being lied to every single day by a huge propaganda network of corporate and government interests. We are being bankrupted both personally and nationally by criminal banking and speculative interests who have also obtained high positions in government, a classic sign of a corrupt country.
The U.S. is going to change and change sooner not later. There is a worldwide movement for justice and democratic representation occurring right now, it will happen here too. I hope it takes the form of peaceful change but the people are being pushed to the edge. This is both a frightening and optimistic time but one thing is sure, people have had it with being abused.

if the corporatists in both parties will allow change. I wonder if we will need to color outside the lines at this point.

7. Nope, they'll fully resist it, the lines will have to be redrawn |
|
Similar to the way FDR didn't allow bankers in his administration, it'll have to be corporatists overall this time. For instance, appointing the head of GE to a "competitiveness council" is ludicrous and everybody knows it.
