ACAPULCO, Guerrero (SUN) The Civil Protection Directorate will campaign in schools to ask students not to leave in the first rainfall of the season, following the nuclear crisis in Japan.

Civil Protection Director Municipal de Acapulco, Guerrero, Melquiades Olmedo Montes, announced that it will launch a campaign in schools to warn students not to go during the first rains of the season for heavy metals found in the atmosphere due to radiation from the Fukushima Japanese nuclear plant damaged by the earthquake and tsunami of 11 March.

He explained that the radioactive cloud could affect the area. He stressed that at this time is the most sensitive part of Alaska and northern United States, but "we also have here probably something flows. "

Montes Olmedo recommended using umbrellas and raincoats during the first rains of the season.

3. :(
*sigh* This is why people need to know the truth. Let the people/parents make an informed decision as to how THEY choose to deal with this. IF "I" had read this article last week, I wouldn't have let my child play in the rain. Just to be safe.
