From SNL 1979: The Pepsi Syndrome.....
It will probably be pulled soon.

Richard Benjamin's "Ross Denton" speech is timeless....

5. How about 7-Up?
"Harmless, it's an un-cola"

...when it was funny is right. Lost it's edge so many years ago, it's sad now. It used to slam liberal causes all the time. pffft

6. So great- and as someone pointed out Sen. Franken was one of the mimes.
With his giant Franken Fro!

Awesome stuff- sweet Jesus how funny that show used to be. Any idea what season that was from?

17. BTW, I don't know if you caught this but the other mime also appeared with Franken in...
...the movie "Trading Places" with Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroid (sp?). They were both baggage handlers for the train at the end of the movie.

18. That's Tom Davis. Al's Long Time Writing Partner.
They use to have their own skit called Communist theater. In one of them, they did a terrific send up of an American election.

I was kind of stunned that the MN GOP didn't use those skits against Al during his senate run.

Mick Jagger and Keith Richards is priceless! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_mwsDFm7bQ

9. "Don't touch me! I'm a nuclear engineer and I'm pretty worried right now..."
The press conference:
Reporter #1: Is it true that the president is 100 feet tall?
Ross Denton: No! Absolutely not!
Reporter #3: Is the president 90 feet tall?
Ross Denton: No comment.
