Shoelace Shock
Here's a product I would have thought for *sure* was made in China: shoelaces. I needed to buy a pair. I was in a CVS and bought them there. Usually I look at labels to see where stuff's made before buying it. Not that I have a choice, mind you, but still, I look.

This time, I assumed they were made in China and so never looked.

Tonight, I went to open the package and I was shocked. Big letters: Made In USA

I know nothing about the company, but there it is. A cheap product made here.

I know this isn't a big deal, but it made me happy to see that.

2. I bought a wonderful wool hat with a liner for 10 bucks.
UNION Made in the USA!

Got it at near 100 year old rural store. I should have paid more for it. The store is having a hard time staying afloat. :(
