I don't see this as a military emergency for the U.S.

We have emergencies here at home...so they say.

They said all money spent must be available from this point forward. Freeing people is nice, but not a military emergency for the U.S., and they are escalating fear here at home, about our own needs. Obama said he did not want to wait for the "slaughter". Unlike Darfur????? (no oil?)

Anyone who mentions Libya and money in a sentence on any media outlet, is talked over. That's what they are being told to do, obviously...

4. Interesting that when it comes to the needs of Americans, the country is "broke".

This has to be about money & oil, not about caring for people who have nothing themselves to offer in return.

I can't wrap my head around a government that could take heat from its own financially-strapped citizens living in the coldest areas of the country but could spend millions (or billions) in helping the vulnerable in a foreign land.
