Through the Mirror-- Bizzaro World, where Superman is Evil |
|
Every day lately it seems there is one more incredibly insane thing some state government, the executive office, Congress, big business/banks, international populists and their autocratic dicators and of course, Mother Nature does that makes a headline. I don't know about the rest of you, but my head is fairly spinning from the effort to wrap my brain around each new fact and the attempt to integrate the news into my knowledge and understanding of the world.
Frankly, I've gotten used to hearing about the wildfires and mudslides in California, the hurricanes in Florida, the tornadoes through the midwest, Nor'easters in the Northeast and the flooding in the mid-Atlantic and they barely raise a blip on the radar now.
Unrest in the Middle East-- well, that has hardly been news in my entire lifetime but now it has taken steroids.
US in a war-- it's like we are collecting them. (Interesting business model: Corporations want stuff, cause governments to go to war in which taxpayer money and offspring are spent to do kill people and destroy property, Corporation gets contract and makes more money which they hide from taxation in US-- thanks US taxpayers! The CEO laughs all the way to the bank with his munitions making buddies).
Since the TP and Repubs desire to shut the government down rather than negotiate with Democrats who don't wish to cripple the country, let's take a look at the sideshow states. The crazy republican and some democratic lead states-- Every day another outrageous bill to pass. Things are downright despiriting. Better to make it a parlor game then let it drag us down. Let's make up stuff now, the crazier the better-- what will they pass next?
I'm convince Texas will end up presenting a bill seceding from the union to get out of entitlement programs. If so, do we let the go? Cut'em loose?
Will Maine open an auction market for human organs?
Will any state relegalize slavery? And who will they get to enslave? Concentration camp resugence?
Any other bizarro world predictions?

1. When you reach down deep |

into your box of Collaps-eo's cereal, these are the kinds of prizes you find at the bottom.
My personal reading between the lines tells me that this is about ushering-in the inevitable collapse. It is a good idea to look into the events before the collapse of the Soviet Union. Different, in some ways, the same in others.
Most importantly, perception must be managed at all costs. Distractions, like the Wreckpublicans verses the docile Democrats are useful and blame can go here and there while the empire falls. I know that might anger some to consider it, but there are so many factors at play and resources are a very big issue. You cannot go back to what we will call the good old days when Peak Everything is at hand. So, it is managed and the grabs are just as much about survival as they are about greed and power.
