Who's going to fund this military? How much more money are we going to have to pay for MORE military industrial complex? Who's going to be in control of this military, 100% us? Because if not, then, I see "taxation without representation". Not to mention the last thing this world needs is more military firepower.

We have UN "peacekeeping forces" already that come from many nations. Could they try something like the French Foreign Legion?
They wouldn't start a "UN army" though, in reality.
