This article shows how totally out of touch these people are. Laura Bush tells how, after being waited on by WH staff for 14 years, fixing the turkey breast at TG dinner was just too much for her. (!?!)

She goes on to tell how her staff talks to Hillary's staff. She and Hillary talk on occasion. (Hillary is her fave Democrat.)

Much of what she discusses are possessions and on just about every one, she qualifies it by telling it was made by a homeless man, or a company benefitting Afghan women, etc.

Oh and they have geothermal.

She spends all her time with George.

So being rich has its punishments.

But no. She actually said that. I was sure it was a joke--it's dated April 1st--but the NY Times wouldn't really joke about Laura Bush that way. Would they? I keep telling myself it can't be real. She just can't be that vapid.

11. Pictures giving a glimpse of the ranch house were never

published while the chimp was occupying the WH. The admin. worked hard to create the obviously false impression that the place was some rustic ramshackle barnlike dwelling - not at all what's evident here. Even now they're being careful not to reveal the palatial size of the house or the large swimming pool area of the property. These are very rich, privileged people. It's stupid of them to pretend otherwise.

The day Laura made the turkey breast was probably the day that the cook called in sick. Those people don't do their own cooking, fer cryin' out loud.
