I wouldn't be surprised if this now guarantees that Murkowski is not seated by January 1st and subsequently loses her committee positions that were important to Alaskans.

Joe has nothing to gain by doing this and no serious judge is going to argue to disenfranchise voters with clear intent for the sake of the letter of the law.

Besides, the law is biased in favor of candidates with shorter and easier to spell names like Miller.

1. Fight Joe, Fight!
Would your political mentor, Sarah Palin, give up?

Okay, bad example. But you keep fighting, buddy! Don't let anyone, especially not the likes of Norm Coleman, tell you to back off and accept inevitable reality. You're gonna need some money, probably. See if Mrs. Palin has some loose change in the couch cushions.

3. And I am with Joe 100% on this.
Alaska's elections have been effed up at least since 2004. What hasn't been publicized so much is that he's also questioning the Diebold Accuvote system that we've been using, the same one that's been outlawed in California because it's so easy to hack.

I don't give a care about how anyone spelled Lisa Murkowski's name, but I truly hate that we don't hand count our ballots here where there are really so few voters. In this election, Lisa got ALL of her votes hand counted, by virtue of the fact that she was a write-in, but Scott and Joe didn't. Who knows how many got lost.

In 2004 when Lisa ran against Tony Knowles, we had some precincts that showed over 200 percent voter turnout. Tell me how THAT happens.

7. I wish the Alaska Democratic Party had joined with him on this.

They had their own lawsuit going in 2006 which they won, if I remember correctly, but they still got stonewalled on the remedy. I guess they just didn't want to be associated with the crazy man this time around, but next time it could be Mark Begich paying the price for us keeping the machines.
