They just showed the eagles on NBC news. |
|
I wonder if that will mean more people watching soon.
Those babies are just too cute.

6. Well, they're raptors after all. Carnivores. |

Guess it goes with the territory. I wouldn't want to mess with one. Then again, I don't think we're supposed to.
That's the whole point.

8. There was a tv show (docu/reality) in alaska I was watching not long ago and the bald eagles |
|
would routinely attack people walking down the road in the town where the infamous dutch harbor is. totally unprovoked.

16. You have to wonder why. Unprovoked, or just that we don't |
|
understand what it was that provoked them.
But that would be a truly scary experience. Have you ever seen a Bald Eagle up close? Yikes.

That's a great pic of the whole "dinner table".
Looks like they're bedding down for the night with it going to b&w.But I guess they still might do some more feeding.
Funny your posting earlier about nudging at the screen so that little guy didn't fall out of the nest!

11. Truly! I was actually leaning to the left, unconsciously fanning at it with my right hand |

trying to fan it over a little more to the left where the center of the nest was.
Ridiculous, but there I was. Busily thinking of all the devices we'd have to invent and try out so that we could reach up and push it farther back into the nest without interfering (yeah, without interfering!).
Despicable meddlesome me.
:silly:

I would have done the same, if I could. Damned spunky baby.

Do they have representation yet?
I see a mini-series and maybe a book deal. Nothing firm, yet.
But these chicks are HOT.
