Rancho Cordova mother fights deportation to Armenia (not nice of ICE)
RANCHO CORDOVA, CA - With tears in her eyes, Silva Mamikonyan made a desperate plea.

"Please anyone, help me stay with my husband and children, I don't want to leave," said Mamikonyan.

Mamikonyan is scheduled for deportation back to her native Armenia on Jan. 14, according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

She may be deported, despite being married to a U.S. citizen and having birthed two children in America. A green card for her is also pending.

When Mamikonyan entered the states nine years ago, some of her travel documents were fraudulent. She claimed someone prepared the papers for her. An immigration judge later dismissed the charges, but ICE refused to stay the deportation.
