Our wonderful efficient healthcare |
|
Yesterday I called my health insurance company to inquire on some claims I paid. I of course had to pay out of pocket because the weren't in network. As usual they were declined. Three were above the "customary charges" except these were cheaper than can ever be charged as it was at a university. They just put that in as a reason. The best was yet to come. They purposely put the other charges into an old policy number and then deleted them out of the system and never informed me. what is really ridiculous is that I used the same form and ID number for every claim. I filled it out once and then made copies and attached them to each claim. They "just" happened to put the wrong number on the claim and didn't inform me.
This is planned larceny. I spent 2 hours on the phone and was never able to talk to a manager. Just lower level people. This is our "efficient" system at work. CROOKS

1. Reasonable and customary charges |
|
Ever wonder where that number comes from? It comes from a single actuarial company in New York State, a company formed by, paid by and staffed by the largest insurer in New York. The company was successfully sued by the state yet it remains the source for reasonable and customary charge data.

WE are the problem! Those people you spoke to on the phone are selling you and the American people out for a paycheck. This is the root of the problem. Greed and corruption starts at the bottom and works it's way up. Not the other way around. This country is NOT the way it was in the beginning. Free land and everyone for themselves. We must change and change now or we will be and are sitting ducks ready to be shot.

9. Traveling Home- you are clueless |

I used to buy my own insurance. I was self employed. Talk about a scam. 3 years ago I spent $25,000 out of pocket and I had the most popular plan by the blues. They just don't pay for anything. Buy you own insurance and get back to me.
