Poll question: Would you fear for your life if you burned a Bible? |
|
And, for the sake of argument, let's say you upped the video of it to youtube using your real name as well. Inspired by this other poll: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=439&topic_id=806068&mesg_id=806068

Or is this in response to some Koran-burning poll that I seem to have missed?

3. Yes, and anyone who says no about this OR the Koran |
|
really underestimates the freaks that walk on this earth.

6. I would only fear for my soul; likewise if I burned the Koran, or Native American Totm Pole, or |
|
similar.
What has taken over the soul when one needs to commit such acts?

Also depends on which Muslim country you are in, in the case of the Koran.
The deep south == deep middle east.
Turkey, no. New York, no.

15. Definitely depends on where you live. |
|
In Alabama, just politely declining a cousin's invitations to attend church can get you ostracized by "friends" and family for twenty years and counting.
As far as burning a bible on video and giving out my real name: well, I really don't want to find out what Custer experienced at the Little Bighorn.

... I would not fear that some Christians half a world away would kill a bunch of people whose only connection to me was they were also not Christians.

Let alone burning the book.
