Eagles / eaglets getting a hailstorm now
Thundering and the wind sounds really bad. Looks like they're not hurting for food in the nest, though.

6. Looks like a prairie dog

It could be a rabbit, but it looks like a large prairie dog to me.

EDIT: With the closeup, I saw the claws. Definitely a prairie dog with the long, rounded claws.

I can't tell you how MUCH I have enjoyed watching these eagles. I love the hummingbird cam, too.

3. I noticed that.
What's in there and has anyone seen the 2nd chick fed yet? As of yesterday Chick #1 was getting all the food and #2 hadn't had any yet.

5. Yeah
We did see #2 get a little bit of food yesterday, but he was so wobbly. #1 was definitely getting the bulk of it, though.

8. Chick number 2 does not need to eat as much as he is still getting
nutrients from the yolk sac.
