Wildlife enthusiast, check in if you know how to set up a cam to capture nocturnal wildlife. |

Someone on DU suggested a system that was about $200, but could pick it up for half that. Unfortunately, I can't find the thread. My wishlist in features includes the following:
wireless sensor activated about 50 to 75 foot range. I don't expect perfect pictures, just enough to identify the animal. Preferably there's a stealth feature. I don't want something flashing to scare the animal away.
If you're using a system, feel free to describe the system and tell us what you like about it, or dislike.
Mods, if you can find a better place for this thread, please feel free to move.

I have a trail cam that's pretty low end but I've gotten good pictures of bears and wolves with it. I'm pretty lazy with it and could probably do a lot better if I put some more effort into placement and baiting.
