5,000 people marched on banks in San Francisco yesterday.
NO media coverage at all, other than Green 960 (Progressive AM radio in SF).

3. I saw absolutely no coverage of any of the hundreds of 'We Are One' demonstrations around the
country yesterday. I went to a local one yesterday afternoon and there wasn't a newspaper or TV station in sight.

7. What if several thousand people got together and..
burned the local newspaper and had signs that said things like, " No coverage of real news" "We're tired of fake news" or maybe TV machines?

Just a thought....

9. I wouldn't have known

about any of the events if I didn't use the net. It's a shame. They could have a huge story with all the corruption going on, but when you are part of it, well nevermind. I think after some of these smaller battles are fought (and WON, go KLOPPENBURG) we should focus on the people who have been ignoring us. Don't know where to start, but I think the movement needs to keep going with we the people in charge.

10. Well, folks
It's up to WE THE PEOPLE to make it 10,000 marchers next time, and 15,000 marchers the time after that.

Eventually, WE THE PEOPLE will no longer be ignored by the PTB.

13. Perhaps.
But if you get 100,000, if they cover it at all, they will describe it as "hundreds of protesters".

We saw that regularly with anti-war marches.

12. Ours was covered
Edited on Tue Apr-05-11 11:16 AM by Le Taz Hot
In <insert your pejorative here> Fresno, at least 2 of our local 4 outlets covered it. (3 & 4 may have been there, I just didn't tune in to them.
