Jon Stewart calls Obama out on his epic game of hide and seek
Source: RawReplay
By Kase Wickman

Monday night on The Daily Show, Jon Stewart wagged his finger at President Barack Obama’s lack of transparency and public appearances, showing campaign promises for transparency next to Obama’s recent exploits: Banning press from covering him receiving an award for transparency and censoring emails specifically about transparency.

“When you were running for the White House, you wanted to know what everyone was hiding. Now that you live in the White House, you want everyone to stop being so f*cking nosy,” Stewart said

2. Jon if you want a right-wing govt for eternity, carry on.
Obama may not be perfect, but he has been a whole heap better than Bushco.

5. lesser of two evils
He's better than Bush, but WORSE on transparency and going after whistleblowers. But he's good on these other things, so . . .

13. For you maybe.. not for everyone.
Somehow I don't think the people of Pakistan think Obama is much better than Bush. Or the Afghani's.

Did Jon tell the truth? Yes. Are you saying he shouldn't have?

7. Jon Stewart is a hero of the "far left"?
You might want to get in touch with the "far left" and let them know that.

15. Funny you are the first Obama supporter
I have seen that is defending the far left. The far left DOES NOT LIKE OBAMA. In case you haven't noticed. But you will stick up for the whiners, and the no pony's, and the haters to get at Jon Stewart?

17. Stewart bashes Obama like the Far Left, but considers the Far Left to be no better than Teabaggers
My question is why the Far Left trumpets him as a Prophet when it suits them.

19. Maybe because "The Far Left" judges people on what they say?
Edited on Tue Apr-05-11 12:45 PM by Lyric
Unlike "The Spineless LeftISH", we're capable of complex and nuanced reasoning? You know...stuff like, "Just because this guy has been wrong about one thing doesn't mean that he's always going to be wrong about everything EVER, so maybe we should judge each individual idea on its own merits."

Black-and-white thinking and narrow little boxes are for Teabaggers.

18. Stewart nails it!!
Like most politicians, Obama is "do as I say and not as I do". In other words, one more B.S. artist.
