You have an historic opportunity to break the cycle of tax-and-spend, political corruption and out of control budgets caused by Big Labor’s compulsory union power.

But you must strike now to make Congressmen and Senators choose between standing with the 80% of Americans who oppose forced unionism and Big Labor's multi-billion dollar political machine.

It will be an epic, historic battle and your support is critical.

Please sign the petition below right away.

Sincerely,

Rand Paul
U.S. Senator, (R-KY)

National Right to Work Act Petition to:
My U.S. Senators and Congressman
Whereas: Federal law permits Big Labor to confiscate $8 billion from American workers’ paychecks every year just to get or keep a job;
Whereas: This forced unionism breeds violent strikes and a hate-the-boss mentality which drive good jobs overseas, jack up prices and risk re-igniting inflation:
Whereas: Union bosses use this forced-dues fortune to corrupt our political system with over a billion dollars every election cycle;
Whereas: Union-puppet politicians routinely vote for higher taxes, bailouts, job-killing bureaucracy and even more porkbarrel spending keeping our nation locked in recession;
Therefore: I urge you in the strongest possible terms to strike a blow for freedom and American prosperity by co-sponsoring and casting your every vote in favor the National Right to Work Act.

2. Whereas:
Edited on Tue Apr-05-11 12:21 PM by Brickbat
Federal law permits Big Business to decrease its tax burden to less than zero and encourages states and counties to race to the bottom in order to lure jobs to the area;

Whereas: This forced shifting of tax burdens to local levels and a hate-the-worker mentality sacrifices funding for schools and infrastructure on the altar of Almighty Profit;

Whereas: CEOs, banksters and other fat cats use these swollen bags of capital to corrupt our political system with untold piles of cash every election cycle;

Whereas: Business-puppet politicians routinely vote against the common good and common sense, killing programs that help the elderly and the very young, slashing help for the sick, and doing away with any program that might provide some sort of progress, research or betterment for all while guarding porkbarrel spending such as no-bid defense contracts and privatization schemes;

Therefore, Rand Paul can kiss my UNION ASS AND GO TO HELL.

3. Another publican lie
I work in a so-called 'Right to Work' state, and this is the usual misnaming. 'Right to Work' actually means 'Right to be fired just because your boss doesn't like you', or possibly 'Right to work for less pay than you can imagine'. 'Right to Work' is a pro-business-owner rule. Notice that I don't say 'pro-business' because it means that employees need to be afraid of their bosses, since they could lose their jobs at any time, even if they are a productive employee who has not violated any known company rule.

The 'Right to Work' law here in South Carolina has not prevented businesses from replacing American workers with lower paid workers in other countries. It has not resulted in more dollars in employee's pockets.

4. What you are describing is more like "employment at will."
"Right to work" means that joining a union is not a requirement for holding the job.

5. So if i am required to pay money to a 3rd
party by law for the privilege of working, how does that force the 3rd party to continue to represent my interests?

6. What you're describing doesn't exist.
No position is required by law to be a union position.

BTW, peddle your "third party" crap elsewhere.
