the greatest threat america faces today is from the republican party.

1. What amazes me is that there are no moderate (Eisenhower)

republican types speaking up. There must be some that privately despise what has happened to their party.
I maintain that many left their party and became the DLC.
But someplace there must be a few old Eisenhower repugs that can stand up to these thugs.

2. They're afraid

If they speak up they'll be a target of the TeaBaggers in the 2012 elections, and they've become comfortable not having a real job...and gettiing all that free money from lobbyists

Would you expect them to give that up, for consituents they only have dealings with every election cycle?
