the whole time I watched that mess with Palin, I was thinking that Couric was really giving her softball questions and how dare she ask something so easy to answer as "What newspapers do you read?" and then I realized that Palin was so stupid, so ill-informed and so unready to be a dog-catcher (was she REALLY running for, as she would call it, the VeeeePeee spot?) that she was flummoxed by a 'journalist' who was trying to make her look good.
