So why is Wisconsin so close? Really.
Edited on Tue Apr-05-11 09:27 PM by Armstead
I live far from there, but from this distant vantage point I can't fathom why it is so close. I would have thought after all the negative energy generated by Scotty, that a large majority would not want to give him another sledgehammer?

Too much faith in human nature?

(I realize this is premature, and I hope things will rally.)

29.  When Kerry was running for President, I volunteered at a downtown
Waukesha office. There was a back room where most of us were working making phone calls... Everyone once in a while a conversation would start and the older people in that area were clear about one fact.... Waukesha was not always Republican.... It became that way after redistricting...

Dane County (which Madison is in) and Milwaukee have very few precincts reporting. The rural area results are coming in before the biggest cities.

20. Kloppfenburg went from 0 name recognition against a 20 yr incumbent
to... Wisconsin superstar!! HOnestly in terms of sheer politics, she went from zero name recognition to being the real star of the show. Prosser has been a career politician for 40 years. That's tough to beat in any election. Its amazing she's come anywhere close! Incumbents have an enormous advantage in terms of sheer politics let alone this race.

31. central tabulator vote changing, very subtle, keep in close and attempt to steal it
I have a hard time believing with this outstanding turnout, that almost half of the people came out to vote for that crap judge. I don't buy it.

That kind of motivation to vote could only be inspired by the protest/revolution that has started in Wisconsin in which case the election should not even be close.

32. look at it this way
(from another article) Mr. Prosser won the Feb. 15 primary with 55% of the vote to 25% for Ms. Kloppenburg. Her campaign gained momentum as anger among public employees increased. Mr. Walker signed the law on March 11, but it remains tied up in court and has not yet been implemented.
