Texas Measure Would Force Schools to Promote Heterosexual Lifestyle
The Texas State House has approved a measure that would require public post-secondary schools with LGBT resource centers to spend an equal amount of money to promote heterosexual activity. The proposal would force schools to ensure taxpayer money spent on LGBT-center initiatives would be equal to education on "family and traditional values."

This is so freakin' funny...

May I direct the Texas Legs' attention to the Playboy and Hustler websites for some source material for their syllabus.

Are they going to put together brothels for Middle-Schoolers to make sure they "promote heterosexual activity"...

How fucking stupid can they get? (Rhetorical Question)...

This did come from the Onion, right?

But as long as gay people are being bashed, Texas is largely fine with promoting immorality and perversion, it would seem. :eyes:

3. This should be used an as opportunity
to get actual sex-education into the public schools here. I hope someone else in the state sees this as I just have and has the skills to create the legislation or perhaps other legal route to force the issue.

:)

4. They're already giving "Dinosaurs coexisted with man" 'equal time' to science
So this isn't that far of a leap.
