Talk WISN-A/MILWAUKEE is dropping PREMIERE's GLENN BECK, starting APRIL 18th. Morning host JAY WEBER's show will shift from 5-8a (CT) to 6-10a, filling the 8-10a slot currently held by BECK, who was in his second stint in the WISN lineup (2001-04 and again since MARCH 2010). The station will add a news block, "WISN'S MORNING BRIEFING," for 5-6a (CT), hosted by News Dir. KEN HERRERA.

"It didn't perform as well as we had hoped," Bott told me.
Removing Beck from WISN's lineup had to be a interesting corporate discussion, since both the Milwaukee radio station and Premiere Radio Networks, which syndicates Beck's show, are owned by Clear Channel Communications.
