Bookends drive
So my little guys school is collecting books to donate to a school in south LA. He's way into it like most causes the school supports (they volunteer to clean beaches, have fundraisers for various causes and recently put together donations to help survivors of the 'salami' in japan) Anyway It turns out the school they are donating books to is a charter school that kids have to work to get into or win some sort of lottery. I don't get it though. Why do they need donations?
