1. Nobody is all bad. Walmart's other helpful policy is...
if you are traveling cross country and need a place to sleep you are always welcome to park your van, camper or RV in any Walmart parking lot and spend the night free of charge. (Except where prohibited by local ordinances) There's even a Yahoo group devoted to sharing the best Walmarts for overnight camping around the country: http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/walmartrving/

I used to live in an RV -- and knew it could be hard to find a place to overnight when
traveling -- so was appreciative of that policy, but I believe it's fundamentally based
in smart marketing.
