If It Weren't For Planned Parenthood...

I remember back in the 70's, both my teen sister and my friends teen sister got pregnant. My friend and I hopped on a bus, and traveled to the local Planned Parenthood and for $1.30 per month, we got ourselves on birth control.

We did not follow in our sisters footsteps.

I continued to go to PP for a couple years, until I got a job with health insurance. I then found myself an OBGYN and had I needed to get an abortion, it would have been through the OBGYN I've been going to for 35 years.

after Blue Cross Blue Shield refused to cover it, stating that she was "high risk". She was a healthy 26 year old at the time. They are a much needed organization.

But do we hear that from ill and non-informed people either
in most of the media or in print? No.
Planned Parenthood, the low and no cost health care that's
been here for years and generations, has prevented pregnancies.
It's illogical to defund it, even the measly $317 million it
gets now.
We have lost our minds in this country and given power to
repeated stupidity and lies.
This will backfire on many on the right but can we wait that long?
And where are all the male voices who've received the same good
health care and testing that Planned Parenthood has always
provided?
