Score....liberal pundit just blew away blond, repug talking head on msnbc

I just turned on MSNBC to check and see if there was any progress on the shutdown. I am so used to the pretty GOP talking heads out shouting and dissing liberal voices. For once, it was the opposite.

I wish I caught the names but a blond, airbrushed woman was stating why this isn't about abortion and what's wrong with Planned Parenthood. A black more real looking woman just trashed her points and would not allow the GOP woman to talk over her or call the black woman ma'am in a condescending way. The GOP pundit was getting angrier and angrier and her looks changed. Her evil and nastiest couldn't be airbrushed away.

I love it when Dems don't fall for the Republican tactics of talking over someone and using condescension.

On the Hill this week. I didn't have the TV on today yet, but yesterday I did catch Sen Barb Boxer and Pattie Murray with many fine women speaking out on the shut down of women's health needs, abortion rights due to the RW takeover of Congress.

They really called out the newly elected republicans for LYING their way into office. Apparently the Republicans main talking points in Oct 2010 were that they wanted to get some new job mojo happening, but once they got in, it is once again all about having the government big enough to poke its nose into our bedrooms.
