With a possible federal government shutdown overnight, the Republican Party might lose the keynote speaker for the annual Prescott Bush Awards Dinner on Saturday night.

U.S. House Speaker John Boehner is scheduled to speak at the fundraiser in Stamford for the state’s Republicans, but Boehner might cancel the trip, his spokesman, Michael Steel, told CT Mirror.

And why do the repukes have an awards dinner honoring a Nazi coillaborator? Oh, right, I guess I just answered my own question. :eyes:
