Did the GOP lose the debate on the shut down today or am I in a bubble?

I've been watching off and on all day, even Morning Joe, and it seems like we have spun this right.

I admit I've been away from the news for a few days so maybe I'm not seeing this right but geez, the GOP looks petty and out of touch. Hell, if Bachmann and Huckabee say settle, we won.

In a rare move the Democratic Party made this about one thing, "The REpublicans are holding up the budget bill by assaulting women's health care"!

The Republican women tried to get in front of the camaras and this was a fiasco.......

Harry Reid has been steller....I normally don't say that...but he has.

the women's press conference was amazingly awful. I couldn't believe it. And yes, Reid has been great. To see such a meek seeming Mormon defend Planned Parenthood was beautiful.

Obama sounded great this morning with is "how many of you are married? Do you always get your way?"

I remember following the 1994-95 shutdowns and I was never sure we'd won.

This time the GOP really look like its playing games with important stuff.
