@fshakir: On senate floor, harry reid thanks u.s. chamber's tom donahue by name for making budget deal happen.

@ddayen: It'll be fun when job growth reverses over next few months, and GOP blame it on not cutting spending enough, and Dems go grumble grumble

@JC_Christian: rt @speechboy71 At a time of 9% unemployment both parties are working together not to create jobs but to reduce spending & cut econ growth

@GloriaFeldt: RT @blogdiva: the abused wife syndrome befits the Democrats

1. Any tweets suggesting what the Dems should have done instead?
Or is it just complaining?

5. Do you think there's nothing to complain about?
$78.5 billion in cuts...Repubs got everything.

6. Complaining is fine, I just want to know what you think the Dems should have done.
They tried to hold out and the teafuckers threatened to shut down the government.

Place the blame where it belongs.

7. They should have gone on the offensive.
Instead they stay on the defensive, pushed by a bunch of radicals.

They need to take back the messaging. Things should never have gotten so far along with Planned Parenthood. They should have stepped out day 1 and said clearly what the group does.

They need to stand up for teachers as well. But that won't happen because privatizing education is their goal as well.

They never take the attack position until pushed into a corner, then they pick a fight now and then.

2. How many people in congress have an original thought
it seems corporations, lobbyists, and the chamber write the laws now
What do we even need congress for and all the minions that work for them, just to collect a pay check that they do not deserve??

3. Our party has had a golden opportunity...so many rights to defend.
They were handed this chance on a silver platter, and they compromised away the chance to speak up.

Everything the teabaggers propose are the opposite of what Democrats should stand up for, and they could have a field day proving the right wing extremists wrong.

No wonder the country is becoming so right wing....there is no one loudly presenting the other side. Our side.

They are having women hang on just barely by standing for Planned Parenthood at the last possible minute....only because they got millions of letters and so many of us donated to the group.

They are letting public education die. I am not sure I can forgive that.
