Many many years ago, Michael Kinsley was 'debating' Pat Buchanan |

on Crossfire, and there was some discussion going on about abortion, etc., and Kinsley said to "Pat-the-Nazi-apologist": (paraphrasing of course) Pat, after you tackle abortion, then you're going to start your all-out war on contraception" and Buchanan that creep, just gave that laugh of his and agreed that the war and the skirmishes will continue until that end is achieved.
I never ever forgot that and actually confronted George Will at one of his speeches a year or two later when he was telling the Left in the audience to just stop worrying about the abortion issue. I stood up and asked him when he and his cronies were going to launch the invasion against contraception or had it already happened surreptitiously. He turned away from me and took another question, I said sotto voce "asshole". and sat down.
