If the money tanks don't get the bad guys we'll call in a money airstrike and a small mountain of money flying at Mach 2 will drop a laser-guided palette of 100 dollar bills of the target.

5. Oh, they figured it out already but "they" would much rather argue about...

...whether or not your rice ration for the day should be 130 or 140 grains than whether or not to stop feeding the war machine.

One thing I do like is that the broker and broker we get, the more people of all political persuasions are going to start thinking "Hey, I can't afford heating oil for my home this winter- why am I paying to keep tanks running in the desert, again?"

We just can't have that happen - better to take fresh fruit out of kids' lunches, reinstate the donut hole, let our bridges and highways crumble, etc. than cause financial harm to the military-industrial complex. Turns out Ike was right on that.
