This is Malyia. Malyia Jeffers is the toddler who lost parts of all her limbs after a medical saga that began with a fever on a Sunday morning. She has been in the Stanford ICU and Davis Medical Center for several months. She is undergoing skin grafts and other treatment while her mother and father struggle to keep their lives together and plan for a very new future.
