Palin finally goes birther.
Sarah Palin lauded Donald Trump's efforts to raise doubts about President Obama's citizenship in a Fox News interview.

Said Palin: "More power to him. He's not just throwing stones, you know -- from the sidelines. He's digging in there. He's paying for researchers to know why President Obama would have spent $2 million to not show his birth certificate. So more power to him."

She added: "I think he was born in Hawaii because there was the birth announcement put in the newspaper. But obviously, if there's something there that the president doesn't want people to see on that birth certificate, then he seems to go to great lengths to make sure it isn't shown, and that's kind of perplexing for a lot of people."

3. More like her nose
She smells money. Maybe Trump will give her some of his. Donald will soon be ending his vanity run, as the time to file official papers and turn in that financial disclosure form draws nearer.

10. Gee Sara
Isn't that something like YOU not wanting to give up your medical records when people were suspicious about your last "pregnancy" when you were running for VP?

She is such an f-ing hypocrite it makes me sick. I wish someone would call her out on that but of course, Faux Snooze never will.

11. My (virtual) money's on Sarah. She will be the nominee.
Don't ask for explanations. It's a feeling in my gut that somehow, Sarah will be the Republican designee.

Maybe it's their need to find ever-shallower candidates. How else can they "bottom" GW Bush? They need Palin to continue their streak.

12. I hope she is forced to eat crow on this...
The Hawaiian state health official who personally reviewed Barack Obama's original birth certificate has affirmed again that the document is "real" and denounced "conspiracy theorists" in the so-called "birther" movement for continuing to spread bogus claims about the issue.

The first is that the original so-called "long form" birth certificate — described by Hawaiian officials as a "record of live birth" — absolutely exists, located in a bound volume in a file cabinet on the first floor of the state Department of Health. Fukimo said she has personally inspected it — twice. The first time was in late October 2008, during the closing days of the presidential campaign, when the communications director for the state's then Republican governor, Linda Lingle (who appointed Fukino) asked if she could make a public statement in response to claims then circulating on the Internet that Obama was actually born in Kenya.

Before she would do so, Fukino said, she wanted to inspect the files — and did so, taking with her the state official in charge of vital records. She found the original birth record, properly numbered, half typed and half handwritten, and signed by the doctor who delivered Obama, located in the files. She then put out a public statement asserting to the document's validity. She later put out another public statement in July 2009 — after reviewing the original birth record a second time.

Well worth the whole read:

14. fact is, Obama didn't have to spend a penny to "hide" his birth certificate.
The half typed- half hand written form is not available for public viewing. When a request is made for a copy, Hawaii issues the certificate of live birth that Obama presented:

“It’s a Department of Health record and it can’t be released to anybody,” Wisch] said. Nor do state laws have any provision that authorizes such records to be photocopied, Wisch said. If Obama wanted to personally visit the state health department, he would be permitted to inspect his birth record, Wisch said.

But if he or anybody else wanted a copy of their birth records, they would be told to fill out the appropriate state form and receive back the same computer generated “certification of live birth” form that everybody else gets — which is exactly what Obama did four years ago.

Of course this is only according a former director of health in Hawaii and not a teabag republican, so there may be a credibility problem. Hahahahaha

15. I don't know what the law is in CA
When our kid was born, I remember that we filled out a form with our signatures and SSC numbers, but when had to get a certificate to enroll him in school, it was a different document.
