Somebody else try this and see if I'm going nuts. |

I wanted to get an image of the Wisconsin fist logo, so I went to Google Images & typed in "Wisconsin Solidarity Logo." It popped up the usual thumbnail pages, and I clicked on one. When I went to the original image, I got a popup ad that covered the entire window. Sometimes it was a Walmart "special offer" ad, sometimes it was an ad featuring an iPhone. (Not ads originating with WalMart or Apple, but 3rd party offers." I couldn't see any way to get rid of the ads & get to the page I wanted. When I tried this with other image requests, including "Democratic Logo," the mystery ads did not appear. What gives? Anybody got a theory? (Note: the theory "Jackpine is nuts" has already been offered, confirmed, and declared irrelevant to this question.)

4. Is someone trying to block access to that image? |

WTF--Who might be doing this? It's pretty deep if it's intentional on someone's part. What other images might be affected?
