The austerity/budget cutting measures are not the outcome
of a democratic process. They were foisted on us by the G-20 and the very rich who wield personal financial power like a weapon in order to steal from the middle class and poor.

Remember the G-20 meeting in Toronto not so long ago? Remember the provocateurs?

That is where and when these budget cuts were foisted on us and other industrialized countries.

Read this article from the Guardian.

Signs of deep rifts at the G8 and G20 summits in Toronto over how quickly governments should cut deficits added to financial market jitters today, with the Americans warning of the dangers of a double dip recession if all countries started to rein back spending at once.

The leading European economies, especially Germany, are putting a new emphasis on cutting back government spending, and there is a possibility that a G20 communique, due to be released on Sunday , will set out an indicative timetable of how far and fast countries should retrench spending.

David Cameron, making his first appearance at a world summit and packing in a frantic round of bilaterals to start building personal relations, was praised by the summits' host for his deficit slashing budget earlier this week.

. . . .

This actually happened. It is not some sort of conspiracy theory. The article tells the whole story.

These budget cuts are being foisted on us. The huge deficits we have are for military spending, defense contractors, Homeland Security, the whole TSA theatrical stunt. All of those things cost far more than they are worth to ordinary Americans. They are vehicles through which the rich and powerful transfer public money into their personal bank accounts.

No matter who is in the White House or Congress, their masters -- the international caste of oligarchs -- are pulling the strings on this one. I just don't think you can draw any other conclusion if you read the information on the G-20 meeting and then observe what has happened.

Obama is just obeying his masters as are the Republicans in Congress. I wonder what compensation they have been promised for their efforts?

4. Our "elections" are nothing but Kabuki Theatre.
There can be no democracy until Capitalism is completely destroyed.
