An image of Dodger Stadium beating victim Bryan Stow (C) is shown on the scoreboard before a MLB National League baseball game between San Francisco Giants and St. Louis Cardinals in San Francisco, California, April 8, 2011. Stow who drove more than 300 miles from Santa Cruz to Los Angeles to watch his beloved Giants play the Dodgers on Opening Day last week, was attacked and beaten in the parking lot by two men after the game. The 42-year-old paramedic and father of two, who was apparently assaulted because he wore Giants garb, remains in a coma and listed in critical condition at a local hospital. His assailants, who were dressed in Dodgers gear, have not been caught despite a $150,000 reward.

6. Absolutely
The Dodgers organization should fund more of it themselves, imho.

It would be a great gesture.

9. That's not their home opener..
The Dodgers official home opener was 3-31, the date in which Bryan Stow was nearly beaten to death in the Dodger Stadium parking lot as an estimated 100 people looked on. None of whom, despite the $150,000 reward, has come forward..

And yes, the Dodgers should absolutely pay for Stow's medical bills..

10. Jeeez, you entirely miss the goddamn point!!
This isn't about the Dodgers responsibility. Its about the pathos bred by our popular culture!!

7. Dodger Stadium is a sewage pit in a sea of shit
Try going to a game in KC, Milwaukee, Texas (arlington) or Anaheim.

8. Now if this isn't the best illustration of a degenerate society
Edited on Wed Apr-13-11 11:01 AM by goodnews
I don't know what is. This really takes the cake. Sadder still is the incapacity of people to see what living in this capitalist world of fuckbrain games and bullshit does to people. This shit is the direct result of a degenerate culture where mindlessness reigns and meaningful social activism is held in contempt. I can just see these idiots fighting to the death as radiation destroys us. It is at times like this that I think the human race deserves what it gets.
