Charity Clearing House...Link previously posted on DU...need it again
About a week ago some body posted a link to a charity clearing house of sorts. (I thought I saved the link but now cannot find it.)

The site had various causes one might choose to help...
sleeping bags for homeless teens, clean water for a small village, uniforms for school children...etc.

If anybody could provide the link agian I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

2. kicking....and researching

There are several sites which act as a clearinghouse of sorts. I'm trying to find the post you speak of to see exactly which organization was mentioned.

I'm curious, too! :hi:

3. Is this it?

I know I read about a new website (within the last year) which served the purpose of listing what non-profits need (as far as supplies...beyond money), and the donors could search to see how they could help in that way.

This isn't the same site but it's similar.

Otherwise, there are just so very many websites these days that I, personally, get confused and overwhelmed, to be honest. It's one of the reasons Wishadoo! was founded; it cuts out the middleman and enables people to help one another directly with a variety of needs. It's not a 501(c)(3) yet, however.

Here's the site I just found.

I invite you to check out Wishadoo! as well: http://www.wishadoo.com

:hi:
