Would the wealthy send their kids to ''teach to the test'' public schools?

Assuming they could be guaranteed the same safety and comforts of their private schools, would the Bill Gates, Michael Bloombergs, and Eli Broads of the world send their kids to schools where they are taught to excel at filling in the bubbles on a scantron test?

Maybe that's why they are so eagerly pushing this kind of education reform: there are no elite schools that taught their kids that A-E are more important than all the other letters.

The elite go to schools where they actually get a well rounded, high quality education. The rest will go to public schools, schools that will have been drug down to the lowest common denominator, receiving an education that makes them perfect drones for our new service economy. "Do you want fries with that?"

And his daughters have never attended public schools, either. It irks me that we keep electing people who haven't experienced public education.
