Walker's admin undermines Wisconsin job growth - Republican opinion

http://www.jsonline.com/news/opinion/119634119.html

<snip>

I was secretary of development in a Republican administration, serving under Gov. Lee Dreyfus. My duties included private-sector job creation in Wisconsin. Before and after that tour, I served as an executive in a number of private corporations both in and out of our state.

With that background, I have watched with increasing unease as our new Wisconsin administration has veered off track in its goal of promoting job growth in our state.

Scott Walker's first action as governor was to torpedo fast rail between Madison and Milwaukee. This action cost the state several thousand jobs and, much more important, cost Wisconsin the possibility of competing more effectively with Illinois and Minnesota, the two strong states that hem us in geographically.

1. Nicely argued. Clear, succinct, and right on point.

2. That's Not What The Koch's Paid For...
Job growth? Only if it means busting unions and the working class that forces them to take whatever jobs the corporate masters deem they should have. The corporates are in control and until the unions solidify and really stand up...or the working class (there is NO middle class anymore) organize rather than fight with one another and show up at the polls.

5. the guy would have paid rights to use the tracks
this would have helped subsided the line to Milwaukee. right now there is`t a through line from madison to milwaukee and he`s paying for the rights to use another railroads tracks. i`m sure the people who own this railroad are not very happy

6. They threw him under the bus, so to speak
What amounts to distracting us from the REAL crimes between the likes of the Koch Bros and their ilk, AND within the Walker administration
