Why are they being such tools?

1. They are the greedy.....and the stupid.

They look at money the same way they look at the rapture; as a special club that will give them a free pass out of the mess they've made of the world.

It's not that they don't believe in global warming; they think their money will pay for a decent life, regardless.

The only thing they honestly believe is that accumulations of worthless paper make them special.

2. Their prime objective is the destruction of democracy.

They have never like it and often give it away when they say that we are a republic not a democracy.
They have never trusted democracy and have always sought ways to circumvent it.
Now they have it within their reach to do just that by just buying the government and the media and then they will have total control and will not have to be bothered with how people vote.
