Time to start writing/calling/faxing/whatever our reps, and DEMAND the repubs get in line, and the Dems stand strong?

I'm in!!! :bounce:

Looking forward to actually seeing the speech later, too!

1. We heard similar speeches/promises re: healthcare
We ended up with a healthcare plan that 'includes every republican idea.'

I reserve the right to believe it when I see it.

6. Me too, However
We Cannot Sit Back And Wait!

I am going to continue with the onslaught of calls and emails to DC Lawmakers. I'm going to fight like Hell between now and then. How can he be effective if WE aren't behind him.
I am "in for this fight" with "them".

2. I've never understood why people put question marks at the end of declarative statements.

It reminds me of 'upspeak'.

7. The sentences (both that have the "?") as written are declarative statements.

10. "Now, the ball is in our court." Statement "Now, is the ball in our court?" Question
I am amused by the grammar gripe as I notice misplaced apostrophes.

12. It's time for the president to keep talking
if he really wants what he said he wanted he can't just go away again. He needs to be out in front of this. Individual people are easily ignored by the media and our reps (particularly if your rep is in the other party). For once we need the president to use his bully pulpit. If he doesn't it will go the way of almost every other position speech he has given.
