Obama wins. His critics lose.
That's about it in a nutshell, right?

Who is left looking like the adult?

Who was dead wrong, yet again?

I am so glad this man was elected President.

30. There's No Memo Where I'm From
It's been blatantly obvious his entire term, there's no need for a memo, just watching him speak is a memo in itself.

It always "just words" unless there is some action behind it.

Republicans will tell you they love puppies while strangling them right in front of you. If you only listen to words you're a sucker.

9. Right
he hasn't won shit. A plan is just that, a plan. He needs America to decide if the plan makes it. And we won't know that until the final results are in in November 2012. He may get re-elected, but the Noise machine may steal the Senate and we're shit up a creek without a paddle.

And when the goin gets tough, Obama gives in.

Keep dreaming.

16. Oh BOY!...We must be getting the Public Option,
Passing EFCA,
Closing Guantanamo,
Bringing the Troops home,
Letting the Bush Tax Cut expire,
Putting on the comfortable shoes,
and renegotiating Free Trade!!!

He sure can give a pretty speech.
That HAS to count for something!

Who will STAND UP and FIGHT for THIS American Majority?
Lofty Rhetoric, Empty Promises, and Whiny Excuses are meaningless now.

"By their WORKS you will know them,"
And by their WORKS they will be held accountable.

21. He's always talked a good game.
If he actually backs up his ambitious words with action this time, he'll quiet many of his detractors (including me). But as of now, no one has been proven "dead wrong" of anything, and the President no longer deserves the benefit of the doubt.

33. You have superb grammar for a nine year old
I'm KIDDING! Seriously though, I'm not seeing how you arrive at that conclusion. It was a speech. A good one to be sure, but a speech never changed one single thing. The proof is in the pudding as they say, and my pudding still remains somewhat less than tasty. I hope he follows through. If he does I will be the first person to come here and agree with you.

37. Yeah, our County DEC Chair gave a pretty speech about all of their success.
After they lost every damned seat in the county.

She was then promoted to Vice Chair of the Florida Democratic Party to work her magic there. We're totally screwn down here.
