I am so pissed off at the news media nowadays!
Our news media, at least most of them, are scared shitless of actual SCIENCE.

Just recently a new species of dinosaur was discovered in New Mexico.
CNN called it a "missing link."

"Missing link" may be still a popular term, but it's worthless.
Evolution is not a chain, with all these "links," missing or not.

Evolution is an ever-branching tree.

I see this in a few reports on other networks, how there will be "atomic explosions" at the damaged Japanese nuclear plants.
There might even be a "meltdown."

Wrong.

Explosions of hydrogen gas could occur, also steam explosions.
Also, the nuclear rods could overheat and burn through containment vessels.
Any of the above could produce lots of radiation.

But *NOT* an "atomic" explosion, that is an UNCONTROLLED nuclear reaction that releases all it's energy at once.
And a "meltdown" implies everything melting at once.

What are most members of the news media so scared of, when it comes to science?
Their own bad grades in it?

2. everything is described as a possible missing link. they are lazy and
just say shit... doesn't matter if it is true or not. i don't generally watch most of it anymore. i watch rachel maddow on my roku. i will watch aljazeera english sometimes too. and democracy now. i will not watch msm..... they are at best working with a severe conflict of interest as they are large multinational corporations with propaganda to sell.

3. I actually kinda liked the story
They can headline it anyway they want. It was an interesting piece about the "buck toothed, evil lizard". However, do we know this lizard was evil? Seems to be kinda mean to call it that to me............

5. The networks do not present news.
They present what the corporations want the populace to believe is news.
