Are we too big to succeed?
Edited on Thu Apr-14-11 08:33 AM by Marrah_G
The more I observe our country the more I am coming to the conclusion that we are just to large in both population and acreage to progress in a positive direction as a society. Our leaders do not fear us. We can't all jump on a high speed trail and march on the capitol after work. We have lost much of any sense of community. With increased propaganda from both Government and corporations we get more and more fragmented and disconnected from one another, from our environment, even from our family members.

They said the corporations were too big to fail.

Are we too big to succeed?

1. No.
We need to take the country back from the
"investor class".

The WallStreet/Banking house of cards must be allowed to fall.

2. I guess my big question is how to do that
Our politicians care more about those bankers money then they do about the well-being of the population. The masses are so easily manipulated by the media. A half dozen companies control almost all the media. I just no longer know where to turn to put my energy. Before it was put into getting a Dem WH and Congress, but even that didn't work. Lately I've just turned inward and put it into making sure my family is moving towards self sufficiency in regards to housing, energy, food and water, etc.

3. I think it will happen on its own, sooner or later.
They put the cart before the horse and wonder
why the horse is dying and we aren't getting
anywhere.

4. When all that really holds it together is the threat of penalty for
non-compliance, what are we trying to succeed at?
