You don't just cut costs to oblivion. You increase revenue.
The feds, to increase revenue, can do only one thing.
RAISE TAXES
The only question then, is on who?
That part's easy.
Next . . . . . ?
Cost cutting?
Easy.
DoD.
Next . . . . . ?

2. Try to explain this to my "Libertarian" boss... |
|
He voted for Perot, Forbes and said he's voting for Trump. Thinks the country needs to be run like a business. I asked him yesterday which business we should run the country like. No answer...just walked out of the room. So, I followed him, "No. Seriously. GM? Exxon? Should we model our country after big oil or auto manufacturers? Maybe insurance companies."
He's a great guy, otherwise.

4. Government is not a business |
|
If it were, the most efficient way to run it would simply be to go door to door and steal everything at the point of a gun, as, being the government, you'd be the only one allowed to do it and no one could stop you.
The aims of every business include personal gain. The aim of government should never include personal gain.
