I have to admit liking Rachel Maddow with Michael Steele...
He's been a lot less of a dunce than he was when he was trying to walk the tightrope for RNC--still funny and affable, though. The two of them actually have interesting chemistry and seem to genuinely like each other. After the angry back and forth we see and hear all day on many programs that include pretty nasty RETHUGs, it is actually interesting television.

My opinion, at least...

3. WTF? She's interviewing him AGAIN?!
I'd settled for just fast forwarding through her interviews with him, but now I think I have to stop recording the show all together.

HE HAS FOX TO SPEW HIS CRAP ON, RACHEL, WE DON'T WANT HIM ON OUR CHANNEL!

4. Indeed, Steele isn't quite the dimwit many suspected...
.. still a 'thug, but not a stupid one.

6. Steele's problem
is that he's actually a moderate to liberal republican at heart.

He's been faking it running the RNC and it's made him do stupid things.

7. I agree
Now that he's no longer the official mouthpiece for the RNC, he actually sounds human. I do enjoy the banter back and forth between the two of them.

8. I don't think Repukes need to be given any more air time than what they get on their own RW FAUX
Network and the THOUSANDS of radio stations they own. Why give them MORE air time? Were there no Liberals available instead? LOVE Rachel...Steele? Not so much.

10. That's what I miss about Bill Moyers
Moyers frequently had conservatives on his show, as well as panels that included people from different sides of the spectrum.

Even though they had very different opinions, Moyers conversations were civil, calm and rational, rather than trying to beat them up or getting into a shouting match,

It was a lot more informative and engaging that the empty shoutfests.

I like Maddow's conversations with Steele forvthe same reason.

11. I never really thought of 'pubs as all dimwitted or bat$hit crazy.
Many are more than willing to appear this way to cater to their base(s) to GOTV. That's their endgame; get in power by any means.

I'm al$o pretty $ure they are well compen$ated for their effort$ and embar$$ment by those who benefit the most from their reign.

Makes them especially despicable.

he's likable now that he doesn't have to spew the official RNC partyline.
